Maggie and Dozer

CKC May Day's Miss Maggie May is our gorgeous fawn Boxer. In addition to her great looks, she has a wonderful mellow, laid back, very friendly, outgoing and tolerant personality. Maggie is about 65lbs on a well-built, nicely confirmed frame. She’s got a gorgeous expression and wonderful head with nice body structure and confirmation, her muzzle is slightly longer than standard, but with the "snubness" of Dozer, we expect them to compliment each other nicely. She’s strong, athletic and an excellent runner! She is wonderfully tempered around everyone (yes, even at the vet!) She is also a great guard, however, always making us aware if there is an intruder around. She turned 5 May 1st '08, and has always been perfectly healthy. We are very privileged to be owned by this darling beauty.

CKC Dose Of Dozer Canadian Charm is our dazzling flashy fawn Boxer. He is a fun-loving, outgoing, super friendly, lovable guy. At only 1 years of age, he’s very energetic! He has a wonderful temperament, and is in excellent health. He has a very nice snub-type face and a large, well rounded head. He’s about 60 lbs on an average-sized, very well muscled frame. He has nice structure, confirmation and athletic ability with gorgeous markings and well-distributed amounts of white. Dozer is always the life of the party! We are very grateful to be owned by such a lovable, silly, handsome boy. He is also available as stud to approved bitches only.

Maggie is in heat now! She and Dozer have bred. We expect wonderful puppies in a variety of markings around Mid July! Our CKC Boxer puppies will have their tails docked, dewclaws removed, DHPPC vaccines at 8 weeks of age and will also be spayed/neutered at that time. They will have been properly de-wormed, starting during gestation. They will also be sold with puppy packs containing lots of great information, samples, coupons, etc as well as copies of both parents CFA registration papers. Price per pup is expected to be approximately $650-$750 but will not be determined until they actually arrive. They will only be available to qualified, pre-screened homes.

Is it ok to spay/neuter a puppy at such a young age??

Yes. We’ve spayed and neutered 9 dogs in the past at this age, and haven’t had a single problem. It is routinely done at area shelters, sometimes as early as 6 or 7 weeks before the pets can be adopted out. Our veterinarian has much experience and has no reservations regarding the procedure at this age whatsoever. We prefer to sell our puppies already spayed and neutered to prevent the hassle of the owners having to provide documentation proving that the procedure has been performed later on in life. Also, we want our Boxers being placed into homes as pets only- not for breeding. This way, we can be assured that our precious pups have no chance of winding up in a puppy mill.
